Step-Thru Electric Bikes

Most step-thru electric bikes are designed "pedal-forward" which means the pedals are placed slightly in front of the seat allowing for a proper seating position. This means your feet can be flat on the ground while at a stand-still. This creates the wheelbase to be slightly longer than traditional bikes, which actually makes it more comfortable.
